Is using AI at school and university really cheating?

With AI, the wait is over. For humans, the journey with AI is just the beginning.

In the past, search engines responded only after a student asked a question. In 2025, AI systems have advanced to understand context, anticipate needs, and provide support before a learner even asks.

With AI, the wait is over. For humans, the journey with AI is just the beginning.

This shift is pushing us to rethink what learning could look like. Just as calculators transformed mathematics and the internet changed how students study and research, AI is now reshaping education itself. AI will not replace educators, but it will likely redefine their roles. Instead of focusing on delivering content, teachers may guide students toward critical thinking, creativity, and other higher-order skills that machines cannot replicate.

New learning models are emerging. AI-powered education is moving away from the traditional one-size-fits-all system. It is not only students but also teachers who use AI, avoiding it altogether is almost impossible. AI has created opportunities for collaboration among researchers, institutions, and society.

By offering personalised learning experiences, providing instant answers, and automated tasks, AI is making education more accessible and efficient. Lessons can be tailored to each student’s strengths, weaknesses, and pace, while AI systems can detect when a learner is at risk of falling behind and intervene earlier than humans often can.

This transformation is opening doors to a more inclusive, adaptive, and engaging education for all and the AI takeover in the classroom is just getting started.
